Where You Stay
Changes Everything

Not every fly-in stop is created equal. Scoop Lake sits at the heart of 2.5 million acres of wild, roadless British Columbia — and once you land, you’ll understand why people don’t just pass through. They come back.

“From glacier climbing to butterfly watching, the range of what’s possible at Scoop Lake is genuinely hard to summarize. Five main camps, twenty-one satellite camps, sixty horses, and more country than you can cover in a lifetime.”

Flying In on Your Own?

Scoop Lake has both a grass airstrip and a floatplane lake, making it a natural stop for private pilots transiting the north. Watson Lake is a short hop away — but we’d argue the destination here is considerably better.
